The space itself housed a tailor since the early 80s, so it was important to link to this history, while also showing that this yarn shop is going to stand out from the rest.

Luckily, the building's colours made for the perfect, eye-catching colour scheme. The previous tenants had left the "Wasso" from "Änderungsschneiderei Wasso" on the window, and we wanted to incorporate this into the branding but couldn't find the original font. This inspired me to search for more fonts that both complemented and clashed with the decal, which I brought together using block colours and a bold type hierarchy.

I designed and implemented the one-page site in Framer, which includes a GDPR-compliant newsletter form and responsive layout. The result is a cohesive system across all platforms that's ready to grow with the shop as it launches.
